現在放暑假,不用早起接小朋友上、下課,
總算可以睡晚晚再悠閒的起床找餐廳吃飯了,
上次吃過阿肯色餐廳的晚餐,
對這道地美國南方料理印象很深,
這次跑來吃早午餐,目標主要放在比司吉上,
由比司吉所變化出來的多樣式料理,讓我很期待!

它都快跟一個女生的手掌差不多大了,
上頭微酥脆,介於麵包與鬆餅之間的口感,
吃起來帶有濕潤度,不會很乾,而且很實在。
老闆娘說,比司吉跟司康很多人會搞錯,
比司吉是使用牛奶做成的,較為鬆軟,是麵包
而司康則是屬於英系下午茶點。

內行人來店裡都會點這道來吃,
它是把比司吉捏碎再下去烤,
熱呼呼,吃起來口感鬆軟,又帶著麵糰香氣,
牛絞肉所製成的肉醬不柴,還有著牛肉本身的香,
牛肉醬雖鹹,但好在比司吉本身味道就淡,
再加上柔嫩煎蛋與起司做連結,濃郁而不死鹹。

一般看到的香腸都是長條狀的,
但美國南方的香腸竟是像漢堡排,
很多人都會誤會它了😆

她說在美國農村早餐基本上都是這樣,
三顆蛋、白醬、培根、比司吉的組合,
因為務農體力消耗大,吃得份量自然也多,
有時候還會加上玉米泥,店裡也有賣,
不過只限六、日才能吃得到這南方傳統玉米泥,
想嚐試的朋友得等週末囉~

在這中又帶著點類似穀麥乾草香,
它不適合單吃,必需與白醬和比司吉合在一起,
那滋味才能配合得剛剛好,
然後再加上半熟荷包蛋,增添滑潤濃稠口感。

外酥內鬆軟又帶微奶香的比司吉,
