為了幫助母親走出喪夫之痛而開的店面,店名是以父親的日本名字Katzer命名。
因其父本是漁民,為了家計把賣相不好的魚交給家中女性,透過醃漬、熏烤或日曬,製成可長期保存的魚干、魚醬,最初便是為了分享從小吃到大、傳承了4代的家傳美食,後來研發出魚干滷肉飯、魚干肉綜、魚羹…等招牌古早味鬼頭刀料理,使得母親不但獲得分享美食的喜悅,更打響了家傳美食的名號!
